The Studio - Manor Park

IMG_6528.JPG

I teach from my home in the Manor Park neighbourhood of Ottawa, right beside the RCMP Musical Ride grounds. There is lots of street parking and the #7 bus stops at my front door!

The entrance has four steps, with a railing. If this is inaccessible for you, please contact me and I will make alternative arrangements.

I have two hypoallergenic dogs who are very friendly but still working on their best manners.  There are time slots available when the dogs are not at home, which you can request at registration.

My teaching space is your learning space, so I try to have options available so you can focus and have fun. You can sit or stand or lay on the floor. We can do a lesson in the dark or enjoy the sunshine through the big windows. I have lots of fidgets, water and tea are always available, and you can take notes by hand or record your lesson. Is there something missing that would make your lesson a more positive or comfortable experience? Let me know!

The Studio - Online

Online lessons are a fabulous option, for both voice and piano lessons!

While a good quality webcam and a USB microphone can be helpful tools, the only thing you need is a tablet or computer. Together, we will adjust some speaker settings in our first lesson, as well as figure out the best angle for me to see you.

Online lessons can be the regular way we meet, or it can be used as a back up in case of illness or bad weather.

There are lots of benefits to doing lessons online, such as:

  • personal comfort

  • no commute

  • I get to see your pets!

  • easy to record your lessons

  • no need to miss a lesson due to travel, bad weather, or germs

  • work with me from anywhere in the world
